Hmm hmm.. This is a really hard decision..

It depends a lot on the game at hand, because in some games I'm actually good in the role of a Soldier while others, I'm not. I guess technically I'm usually better in the back rows as the one who delivers long range attacks or long range booms. In Killing Floor I'm very much a person who runs around with a Sniper Rifle just as much as I'll be running around with a grenade launcher. I'm also the first person to put my legs on my back and run when shit hits the fan, or at least I try to. Sometimes I notice that I am the only one around.

Planetside 1, I was never a good soldier because I'd always get shot from every angle possible or killed before I knew what had happened. I wasn't a good tank driver either or rather ground driver because there would be mines everywhere. I found my niche mostly in the form of flying the Galaxy dropship but rarely would people actually join me because the FPS syndrome - no patience. I was also good as an infiltrator, infiltrating outposts and taking them over stealthily.

But I guess my strength in most games mostly lie in the one who pilots the dropships because I fly them suicidingly fast. Or anything with the capacity for dropping of people and vehicles really. There was a certain BF2 mod I believe that added a helicopter where people could respawn in. I would fly this helicopter and make an amazing crashing landing with it because that's how I roll.

So in the end, I guess I'm mostly a Silent Hunter and Heavy Metal Girl.

If vehicles were more responsive, I guess I'd go entirely Heavy Metal Girl.

I do have a huge respect for Commanders who know what they're doing. If they have a charismatic personality that makes me like them and want to follow them, then I will take a bullet for them if I can. If they have no sense of what they're doing or just not into it, then I'll take a more personal charge myself and try to rally some people behind me. I also like Artillery and I think that's something that is criminally underrated in many games of today.

Most of the time i'm a silent hunter, always taking people out from either shadow or afar during a major battle. I've turn more than few battles taking out key targets.

I do not have good reaction time, and I left appart 1st person shooters a while ago, but when I play I really like to be support (medic). Pretty cool.

Maybe it reflects my dream of being paramedic or war journalist

I am the supporter. Medic and throwing ammo is what I do the best. I'll try to revive, clear the path with the LMG or give supression fire when necessary. It won't help my stats that I will try to cap the points or play the bait no matter what

True, though I did choose support myself, I back up and support my people. It's even my most used class in Killing Floor, as i can carry my fallen teammates weapons. Then they'll not respawn empty-handed. AND i can fill in for any role, since Killing Floor is not class restrictive, it's only perks. :D

Support in Killing floor one of best classes not for support, but for destroying zombies xD medic is best support class in killing floor.

I usually play support although I like the weapons in the assault class better, because I hate running out of bullets and I don't like to see people on my team running out of bullets either.

Seriously...you see all these support players running around and you think it would kill em to drop an ammo crate once in a while ! You get XP for that shit, so why not just drop one, get your points and go do your thing ? You can always drop another when you need ammo, I don't see what the problem is.

If you're playing support, you should never need to be asked for ammo !

As soon as you encounter a group of teammates, you should just drop that dookie, get your points and move on .

Also, I NEVER player recon ! Because I hate sniping. (stat padding) Unless you're playing Team Deathmatch, sniping does nothing to help your team. Yes, it helps you but not your team. Tanks make much better snipers than you and a rifle ever will and if you find that you have snipers in your squad, leave that squad and join another, and don't be afraid to blind the snipers afterwards with a incendiary grenade, tactical light or a smoke device. It's funny as hell and it really is for their own good.  ;)

Since I lack the necessary skills in order to be a soldier, I mostly enjoy being the medic!

I prefer to be the guy with the belt fed MG that just unload randomly as my team moves up.  Nothing is more fun than screaming "COVERING FIRE" and unloading a 250 round belt, especially in games that have bullet penetration.

I got banned from more than one CS:GO server on CS_Italy because I would take the Negev go into the apartment and just unload belts through the wall and actually end up getting 2 or 3 kills per round. Pretty hilarious especially when on T and the CTs come through that hallway lined up and just get massacred through a wall.

Although when it comes to Red orchestra, I always end up being the guy saying "You put that tank there and face this way, you put that MG there and cover that way" For some reason I just have good situational awareness in RO and am pretty good at organizing my team into an effective way

definetly a soldier, but not of the average cookie cutter you described. Its more of a What do I need to do role. I'll die.... alot. but I'll also be what I need to be even if its only a spotter.
