If they make space battles in the next game, it will work like this:

You spawn out in space in a space suit and then you float around to get those points like in the current Battlefront and once you have enough, you spawn in a X-Wing or TIE fighter.

    My thoughts remain the same:

    No campaign.
    No Space Battles.
    No purchase.

I'm looking forward to playing the obvious open beta. DICE looove their open betas.

Just to throw something out there, without accidentally joining a debate that might occur, I'll say:

I'm looking forward to seeing more.

I guess I'm an asshole then!

I never asked for this in fact I mentioned that DICE taking on WW1 was the stupidest thing they could possibly do.  WW1 was complicated and tragic and you seriously expect something well done out of this scenario from the same people who re-drew the positions of the world tectonic plates just to have a level set in Iran.  Hell the only reason they even went to that trouble was because of Modern Warfare was popular!

I have ZERO confidence in these guys and judging by this trailer I am absolutely right not to.  This is NOT WW1, this is Michael Bay's WW1!  Stuipid, dick flicking, over the top action in what's supposed to be a war of attrition.

I'd rather pre-order 10 copies of of Infinite Warfare and bury them knee deep in mud, I am not even close to kidding because that more accurately simulate the experience.

Well, now nobody can say DICE doesn't listen. People asked for WW1 or WW2 setting and DICE delivered. If someone complains, they are assholes.
I'm not defending them since they might screw the game up, but in general they delivered one part. Now we will see the rest.

I'm really hoping for some naval warfare like in BF1942.

I'm honestly surprised by DICE. In a FPS market, which is currently dominated with futuristic settings, they decide to not to go in WW2 setting, but WORLD WAR 1! I'm really interested how they will pull it off. If they succeed, great job! They are carrying a lot of weight with this title now. If they make it right, they will earn lots of love and love from their fans.

What baffles me is why Kaz would want to leave the country where The Raid: Redemption took place. I mean...death and destruction everywhere.

Apparently as you all know, fellow AJSA member Kaz32 has been held hostage by the Indonesian government, preventing him from leaving the country. His current living conditions are a bucket and a sheet in a rusty old cubicle. The AJSA and members of Kaz32's family want him back home, and we have reached a agreement with the Indonesian government that we would have to pay his bail of $500,000 Indonesian munee. Now you would think that this is a donation forum.....
    WRONG!
With my established connections, we have enlisted the help of the URPA (United Retarded Panda Association), that has currently sponsored this forum petition to bring Kaz32 home. With every signature, the URPA will donate at least $2,500 US Dollars, and at least one panda, with a worth of about $45,000 Indonesian munee. The pandas donated will be sent to a animal preservation center.

Please, with every signature, is one step close to getting Kaz32 out of Indonesia.
    Please bring him home.

Yea saw this news today and was damn excited!

I really can't think what this expansion could be about because we got so little news. Tbh I thought that it was going to be very political themed, like some kind of a bloody political conflict/struggle for power that goes horribly wrongr.  The name "Blood and wine" kind of gave me that idea and I don't know why. Like "wine" usually in the past (in this case well this fantasy setting) was considered expensive and only rich people could afford it and "blood" kind of points out that shit is about to get...well, bloody...which takes me to my original point that it could be some kind of a expansion focused on a bloody power struggle, lots of betrayal and other shit.
Now that vampires are mentioned, it makes more sense and I'm confused again, therefore ditching my original idea to garbage. Damn it CDPR!

BUUUUT, Geralt does seem to be sitting on some kind of a throne chair in the picture which could mean it will be a expansion focused on a political power struggle theme...like some kind of Game of Thrones shit or will invlove some kind of a rich family that has a big role in the city, but they are all actually vampires...

Most of what you said is no longer a problem or completely irrelevant.
Pretty much everybody knew that if Quantum Break was ever going to come to PC, it will be through Windows 10. Microsoft owned the IP.

The update system pretty much now is unintrusive at best. I have Windows 10 Home and now the OS will refuse to install updates without your permission. So that whole "it downloads while you are playing" is debunked. Fuck, every time it attempts to install automatically, it fails and it just let me do it manually. It's how I ran my rig back when I had 7.
You are not forced to use Windows 10 and DX12, DX11 will most likely still be supported for years to come.

FALSE: Valve did not create Vulkan API, the Khronos Group did. Also, remember that Vulkan has multiple sponsors contributing to its development, one of them is Microsoft.

The data mining thing, that's also in Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 now, not to mention in Google, and multiple cellular phones. Fuck even cars have data mining in them.

OK  that forced Windows 10 download is uncalled for, but it was something Microsoft used since day one. And the workaround is simply go into Windows Update, delete and disable the Windows 10 upgrade, done. No more problem.

The Windows Store is in need of some serious fixing, since it's pretty much Windows 8 store. Microsoft has promised that they will put in some store fixes and patches like Gsync, SLI, VSync, and fullscreen next month, and the store is looking to get a serious overhaul this summer when the Redstone update combines both the Xbox One store and the Windows Store into a unified store system, so we'll just have to wait and see.
The UWP does support Cross Play for some games, and it's not going to affect Steam or Origin. Steam will still be around and working DX12 games that are Third Party will most likely choose to head to Steam. Ashes of the Singularity, Rise of the Tomb Raider (sort of), and Deus Ex Mankind Divided are prime examples. The UWP so far looks like it will only exclusively hold First Party games, which is a pretty small sum considering how much new releases Steam gets in a week. UWP is not going to destroy Steam or consolize PC, it's too small and PC gamers rather use Steam or GOG or even Origin.

Lastly, Quantum Break is a very strange case, the requirements are overblown and you can run it decent on a midrange system. It actually is in my opinion a decent port, better than the WinStore ROTTR and GoW:UE so it looks like it could be a step. I kind of want this to happen, I want them to improve on the UWP developments, and DX12 and definitely the Windows Store, because it means we see more Xbox One games come to PC. Everything else that's not Microsoft pushed will obviously go to Steam and others. Steam is not going away because of the walled UWP garden. But they need to improve, otherwise this will be a failure, and I do not wish for that to happen.

That spec is much higher than mine. I'm playing on medium - high and it runs really well, 60fps with minimal slowdown, but only when the awesome time distortion effect in the game go completely bonkers. So of course you can! Go nuts!

Also I made a review of this game.

In short, REALLY damn good game.

  19. DemonsColt liked a post in a topic by Apex Spartan in Quantum Break Review. OH GOD THIS GAME IS AWESOME!!!
I've done some engineering to my PC, so hopefully it can handle the game. I put a thick black tape around it so when everything in the PC blows up, the pieces won't be able to burst through the case and burst in my head. I've done some math and shit and here is how it works. When the RAM and GPU overload, it will blow up after a few minutes. The PC case is taped hard so it should be able to contain the explosion and all the GPU, RAM, hardisk and other sharpnel should also be contained. That thing taped on front of the PC is an extra battery to add some extra WATTs in that PSU which will enable the GPU and CPU to run for a few seconds longer than they could otherwise.
I should be able to run the game for about 2 minutes before it reaches yellow alert and shit starts going nuts.

The PC case seems like it's fucked, but I left it like that so that the GPU and CPU get some extra clean air directly from an open window nearby so that it doesn't overheat too fast.

Everyone in my neighbourhood should be safe from about a mile away when shit starts blowing up.
My dad was a soviet scientist so I know what I'm doing.

I'm just kidding. I came here to read about a game I can't run. *cries in corner*

    Here is what I have:
    Intel i7-4720HQ 2.6 Ghz
    Nvidia GTX 970m
    12GB RAM

Think I can manage the game?  From what I have seen (mostly thanks to Game Debate) I might be able to run the game on high.  What do you think?
