For anyone that considers themselves a completionist in the modern era of gaming are all aware of those seemingly impossible or just plain buggy/glitchy acheivements that plague our game lists. I wanted to share one that is not bugged out but eludes me to this day. I have spent countless hours working on the achievements that came with Arkham Knight's DLC challenge pack 6 including "The Chill in the Air" , "The Curtain Falls" and "Requiem for a Killer." I do not claim to be an expert at this game by any means nor do I have an insanely high Gamerscore. In fact I recently created a new profile for my switch over from PS4 to Xbox One and it is less than 3 months old. Unfortunately I have been unable to mark this game off of my list this year all due to the wonderful inclusion of challenge pack 6. All of that being said, I would love to know what achievements or trophies have given you the most issues to get, or did you give up on trying to complete it?
With the GTA Online Heist update just around the corner, it appears that some information has surfaced regarding the new update; new trophies! I know that some (or even a lot of you) are not interested in trophies, but it does give you an idea on some of the new features in the game.........There are 4 Hidden trophies and 5 Visible, so here are the list! Shot Caller (Bronze) - GTA Online: Invest your hard earned cash to set up a Heist. Four Way (Bronze) - GTA Online: As Heist Leader set the Finale cut as 25% across all players. Live a Little (Silver) - GTA Online: Spend a total of $8,000,000 purchasing vehicles included as part of The Heists Update. Can't Touch This (Silver) - GTA Online: Complete a Heist Finale without taking any damage. Mastermind (Gold) - GTA Online: Earn 25 platinum medals across Heist Setups and Finales. So are you (still) anticipating this long awaited update to GTA Online, or has it been that long, that you simply don't care enough/anymore? Do these trophies spark an interest? Share with us your thoughts on the GTA Online Heist update (scheduled for 3/10).
As a fellow Completionist who has just 100% Dark Souls and reached the time of 300 hours total, one question came into my mind. What was the best, most worthwhile or entertaining completion you've played in a game and what was your record time? Some games just are very approachable and this doesn't make them any less entertaining to play, as it makes you learn and spend time to overcome the challenge. One example of my multiple favourites was Far Cry 3 and reaching around 50 hours. So tell me, what was your favourite?
Hey guys, I was wondering how other people felt about achievements and trophies. I'm asking because, recently, I've been on a big achievement kick trying to reach 100,000 gamerscore, and throughout my Xbox career, I feel like achievements can really add to how long I play a game and how much enjoyment I get out of it. It's gotten to the point where I'll actually critique a game based on good/bad achievements, or if an achievement is glitchy, etc. So my question is, do you care about them, and how do they impact how you game?
